Today, thousands of Catholics in Lagos State gathered at St. Leo's Catholic Church, Ikeja to celebrate Requiem Mass for the two Catholic priests and 14 other parishioners who were murdered in Benue  State few weeks ago by killer Herdsmen. They also held a peaceful Protest, from St. Leo's Catholic Church to government house at Alausa Ikeja to express their displeasure at the attitude of Government in tackling this reckless behaviors from herdsmen and government's immediate action to safeguard the lives and properties of the well meaning Nigerians which was led by Arch bishop of Lagos . The Nigerian police released details of the murder which occured in Diamond Estate, Ajah Lagos yesterday. A female lawyer, stabbed her husband(also a lawyer) to death, severed his genitals before attempting to kill herself. A statement by the Lagos Police command reads Today 3rd of May, 2018, the Divisional Police Officer, Ogombo, Ajah, Lagos, received a distress call at about 0730hrs, that one Mr. Otike Odibi, aged 50years from Kwale, Delt   a State, was allegedly killed in his home at Diamond Estate, Sango-Tedo Lagos, by his wife, one Mrs Udeme Odibi, 47years from Akwa-Ibom State.
