Can This Flood Stop You From Worshiping?

Image
A rampaging flood in Anambra state has submerged many buildings including a church. However this has not stopped the church members from coming out to worship on Sunday. The devastating effects of the raging flood reportedly caused damage in about seven local governments in Anambra State. But this has not dampened the spirit of Christians in the area who have refused to cancel any church activity over the disaster. A resident of Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area, Mike Obiajulu, revealed that some Christians in the area insisted on holding their Sunday Service within the small portion of land they could find around their submerged church. He shared these photos from the event. It has reported that all primary, post-primary and tertiary schools in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra have been temporarily closed in reaction to the flood disaster in the area.
